621 items donated, 19 Riada Employees, 8 Companies, 5 Local Foodbanks, 1 mission - to #DoSomethingExtra this Christmas.
2020 has been a year unlike any we have ever experienced. The year where we have to stay apart in order to come together. People and community are at the heart of Riada - our team are passionate about donating time in and out of work to worthwhile causes and charitable organisations and this year has been no different.
Riada launched our Reverse Advent Calendar campaign on 1st December 2020, this time, in partnership with our clients. Every day throughout December our employees and client teams donated items of food, clothing, toiletries and household products - after what has been an extremely challenging year for us all, it was amazing to experience people coming together to help others. Weeks of hard work and generosity resulted in a total of 621 items collected which have been evenly distributed among local Coleraine, Ballymoney, Garvagh and Ballymena foodbanks.
A special thanks goes to our clients AVX Corporation, Causeway Chamber of Commerce, Hutchinson Engineering, Irwin Donaghey Stockman Chartered Accountants, Macaulay Wray Solicitors, Triex Ltd and Young Farmers' Clubs of Ulster who joined Riada and donated their time and items for this very special cause.
